A Carry All and a Photo Shoot
It’s been a whirlwind this past week. Birthdays, day trips, meetings, battling children’s mood swings, school tours, baby girl took her first bite of food already (yipeee) Yes, she is only 5 months old but the girl is so interested in anything we all put into our mouths I thought I’d mash something up and see if she would eat it and low and behold - she not only did but she loved it. So far it’s been some avocado, baked delicate squash, apple and banana. Loves them all. And you know what this means - mama is gonna (kinda) get a freaking break cause she won’t only be attached to my boobie. YAY!
Anyway, my point is that I haven’t really been cooking much of anything too exciting this past week. I was intending to try out these savory gluten free Carrot Pancakes with Salted Yogurt but haven’t gotten around to it yet so I figured these might inspire some of you to give them a go and let me know how they turned out.
Lately, my now farmer husband has been waking up at 3am to get into his tractor and plow the field, getting it ready to start planting some cover crop so when our sheep and pigs arrive in a few weeks they will have something to graze on. Oh, did I not tell you that we bought 10 sheep and 2 guinea hogs?! Yep. Yes we did. I know, holy shit. Literally.
My husband is the type of guy who is constantly learning, constantly creating and constantly designing things that he can't find and wants. No he is not a farmer (yet!), no he's never driven a tractor before (and yes, he is now pretty much an expert) and no he has never designed anything for a tractor - until now. It’s called a Carry All cause it does just that - it attaches to the back of the tractor and carries all you want. They are so fantastic and beautifully crafted that we have decided to start selling them so my son and I did a little photo shoot the other day while baby girl was napping. Was so fun.
