Happy Pre-Thanksgiving & Harvest Update

We decided to open up the farm stand tomorrow.

Yes, we know most people have a big meal planned on Thursday, so we thought we would open up and stock the farm stand just for you. Come out tomorrow and pick up what you need for your special day.  We will have eggs and selected items pre-harvested for you at the farm stand.  10 am to 2 pm.  You are also welcome to go out and harvest.  Lacy, Andrew, and Micheal will all be out there to help.

Aria's Update:

As you know, we are learning and changing as we grow. Some things smoothly transpire and others, well lessons are learned. Our Fall Garden, coinciding with our rapidly growing members (thank you!!!) has taught us a lot about what members harvest and how much.  What are the desirable crops and what we should never plant again. Needless to say, we are learning lessons daily.  We will get better as time goes on.

Side note: If you see a broccoli plant missing a head, those gorgeous green leaves are delicious. I have been quickly sautéing them as I would spinach (with olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes and sea salt. Yum.) Highly recommend.

At any rate, we wanted to keep you in the loop of what's in the ground and what will be coming up out of the ground in the next few months. Thank you again for believing in us as we figure this farming thing out!
